My exhaust system was condemned - it was blowing like a bitch, the flexies were fucked and basically it was falling apart...  But it was a standard exhaust with 178,000 miles and with our shitty salty roads it had a pretty good life.

Anyway, I was trying to go the cheapo route as I'm skint, but there are no pattern exhausts for my car, only genuine or "performance" aftermarket.

OEM was £1650 GBP for the full system (inc cats).

Fuck that!!!

I bought two cats (inc downpipes) off the Internet for £170 delivered, then had a cat back system custom made and had the whole lot fitted for £330.  £500 all in :)

Some photos:

Rifled for my pleasure!

The left-hand cat didn't fit properly, so they had to cut the pipe after the cat off and weld on a stainless steel pipe that fit.

Middle Section - I asked for big boxes to keep the noise down.

TIG welded from the back-box back.

OEM+ ish?

I'm really happy with that :)

Custom Pipes in Doncaster, good lads!
